Gül Baba’s Tomb – Budapest
It is the tomb of Gül Baba Ottoman dervish, the “father of the Roses” in Hungarian, is the northernmost place of Turkish pilgrimage. Built around the 19th century, Villa Wagner is a monumental building that was damaged during World Wars and then demolished. The tomb, parts of the Wagner villa and their surroundings were restored in 2018- decorated with various visual elements. The museum is perfectly complemented by a hanging garden adorned with roses and a lookout terrace with a magnificent view. The completed complex has won several national and international awards.
