Railway Station - Kaposvár

The main building, built in 1900, has been a monument since 2011 and was renovated in 2017. As a result of the building’s success, the design was utilised as a ‘type design’ at two other sites as well: in Szatmárnémeti (today in Romania) and Versec (today in Serbia) which are almost exact copies of the Kaposvár building. The complex renovation focused not only on the architectural values, but also on the preservation of the railway function, and a government window was also designed. The station, renovated while rail traffic did not stop, won the Construction Industry Award in 2019.
