University of Physical Education - Budapest

The monumental block of the university - immediately after the foundation of the Hungarian Red Cross - consists of the buildings of the Erzsébet Hospital built between 1882-1884 and the Royal Hungarian Teacher’s Training College. The latter became Europe’s first physical education institution. The renovation and modernization took place between 2017 and 2020, scheduled during operation, together with the conversion of the sports hospital block into a Central Education Building. An almost uniquely diverse educational work is finally taking place in a worthy place in a beautiful historical setting.
